Where To Get: Finger Stall

Featured Replies

Removed a portion of thumbnail yesterday (hurt like hell).

Pharma Choice mie mee and never seen one. Neither has my wife.

Next port of call Boots/Watsons but in the meantime has anyone had cause to try and get one in town? Leather or plastic OK.

I'm not sure if this will do the trick, but some time back I had a sprain or some such to one of my fingers, and the folks at Lana Hospital had a ready-made brace of some sort made of light-weight aluminum which they taped into place to hold my finger still until it mended.

I've never seen one of those before. Earlier this year I lost the nail on my right middle finger for some unknown reason. As it was coming off - like you said - it hurt like hell. Must be a lot of nerves going to the fingernail. Strangely, I could barely use my hand to swim because of the pulling sensation. I bought a few rolls of surgical tape and taped the upper half of the finger each day for about 7-10 days. When swimming I used double the amount. A bit of a hassle but it worked to stop the discomfort.

The Pharmacy next to Thep Phanya Hospital has them.

This is the Hospital on the Maejo (1001) - Super Highway (11) intersection.
