How about a sub-forum of the Suvarnabhumi forum? Or rename it to "Airports in Thailand" to cover both (and maybe others if you want to expand further) and perhaps major airports such as Suv and DM could have their own dedicated sub-forums within it?

I must concur that I agree with the sentiment of the OP and dantilley above.

If Don Mueang airport does become the Low Cost Carrier Terminal for Bangkok, the membership base here will most likely be using it as frequently as Suvarnabhumi ... according, there will be as many issues arising there also.

So to tombkk, can there be an open mind within TV and, if there proves a demand by the number of Threads, then a dedicated Don Mueang area, in what ever form, can be accomodiated?

Makes sense. Topical at the moment with the move announced by Air Asia, and then moving forward there could be many points of discussion - other airlines moving over, questions related to which airport do flights arrive / leave at, the redevelopment of the facilities in & around, transport between the 2 airports and downtown, could it become flooded again, etc, etc...

Maybe a simple solution is to change the 'Suvarnabhumi International Airport.' Forum into 'Airports of Thailand' Forum with each major Airport having it's own dedicated thread.

Just trying to add to the discussion.

OH, BTW, 292 'Likes' george ... we are getting a bit carried away now ... biggrin.png
