Bkk-Syd Return

Featured Replies

All going well, & I get 6 month visa for my wife's thai nephew to come for holiday to aus,I,m going to be looking to buy him a return ticket @ short notice, preferably thai so he can travel back with me on oct 25 to aus, any suggestions to the best way to go about this, thai airways office in BKK or travel agent cheaper. I'll be in country sept 25- oct25, & hit the visa office day after arrival. We would prefer thai as he can travel back with the wife for her birthday & songkran, (he's a farm type 1st time in plane) Any suggestions to sort the easiest & cheapest way to acheive above would be appreciated.

With THAI and buying in Thailand you may well get a cheaper price from a travel agent than at the THAI office or online. Easy enough to check prices at a THAI office and then compare.

It would not be wise to buy a fare until visa is approved.

It will take up to ten working days for the passport to be returned after submitting application when you will know if visa granted or not.

You do not mention when your wife is returning to Thailand, do you need a one month, three month or one year fare?

It is a little bit hyperthetical at the moment as fares can change at any time, and until you are ready to book you will only get a rough idea looking now.

Anyway, a couple of links below where you can see what agents offer and then compare with the Thai website will get you started.

Yes I was gonna say the same, we all know what Embassies are like. Is he under 17 for child fare? If not a few more links for you but fares change daily.

I saw TG a few weeks ago 27000 in dohop. Check frequently if anything comes up.
