Lancelot
Just arrived back in Thailand at 0630 Friday August 10. Passed through Immigration in under 10 minutes, I thanked the Immigration officer stamping me in and was ignored as usual (Do those guys ever smile?) My bag was waiting on me as soon as I cleared Immigration and I was on my way. I decided to try the Airport Rail link, Suvarnabhumi to Ratchaparop, only 40 baht but a bit crowded since it was a work day. Took a quick taxi ride to my hotel; the fare was only 67 baht so I gave the driver a 100 baht bill and asked for 20 baht change. He was trying to give me the rest of the 13 baht change and seemed delightede with the modest tip- he even hopped out of the taxi and carried my bag to the hotel lobby Any way, for what its worth, my airport experience was very positive
