A Free Choral Concert In Chiangmai On Aug 25Th

Chulalongkorn University Concert Choir from Bangkok is having a friendship concert with award winning local choirs--Dara Chorus and Mont Fort Children's Choir on Saturday Aug 25th.

The concert will be held at Dararatsami Auditorium, Dararatsami Building, Dara Academy (196 Kaewnavarat Road,) at 6:30pm. Please follow the link to campus map. The street in the bottom of the map is Kaew Nawarat, and Dararatsami is number 34 on the map. Sorry, can't find an English map..

We are presenting a light program that you can probably sing along with some of the numbers.

We're doing some English traditional songs arranged by John Rutter and a few popular choral arrangments, all a cappella. Montfort Children's Chorus are singing the repertoire they won a silver medal for in a recent international competition. Dara is doing some light numbers as well. We hope to do more classical program next time we're there.

Thank you for your interest. There's no ticket. First come first serve basis. The auditorium is fairly big. I believe it seats 300 people or more so should be plenty of space.
