Pentagon restricts Ukraine's use of US missiles against Russia,

Featured Replies

WASHINGTON, Aug 23 (Reuters) - The Pentagon has been quietly blocking Ukraine from using U.S.-made long-range Army Tactical Missile Systems (ATACMS) to strike targets inside Russia, limiting Kyiv's ability to employ these weapons in its defense against Moscow's invasion, the Wall Street Journal reported on Saturday, citing U.S. officials.

Then don't make money on selling weapons the buyer is not allowed to use as intended.

Why limit then?

Trump on Thursday seemed to betray frustration with the deadlock, in a cryptic social media post that hinted at support for Ukrainian strikes on Russian soil. “It is very hard, if not impossible, to win a war without attacking an invaders (sic) country,” he wrote. “It’s like a great team in sports that has a fantastic defense, but is not allowed to play offense.”

So your messias makes TACO again. You have a really wierd president.

Flamingos are coming Trumps Russian assets will be under threat 🤔

Most of those weapons are used with US inteligence to guide them

like the use of satellites and US personel.

That makes it a US war.

So selling the weapons is ok for Trump (and MAGA too). But oh no - you're not allowed to use them.

Silly.

This bullsh*t of "not our war" needs to stop. The US signed an agreement that it would protect Ukraine if Ukraine surrendered its nuclear arsenal which it did.

Just stop it already.

This is just the start. Wait until all those F-45 are delivered to countries, and the US restricts what they can do with hem

You'd need the mind of a child or Trump to think like that. Viewing Ukraine's war as "not our war" oversimplifies today's interconnected world. Nations are linked through trade, security alliances, and global stability. Conflict in Ukraine disrupts energy markets, food supply chains, and geopolitical balances, impacting the Americas directly. Isolationism ignores how regional conflicts can escalate, draw in allies, or embolden adversaries, potentially threatening broader security. Interdependence means no major conflict is truly "distant."

Emm, the F-45 isn't available yet, not even for the US.

The F-35 cost's too much already.

Trumps all Gob NO backbone. Putins probably told him to stop helping so he has obliged.

Yes should have said F-35, but my comment is valid, since the US can remotely restrict, or even ground, the plane

Sure, but they claim the F-45 will have the ability to fly in the rain!

Talk about gamechangers!

You must be joking, right? There is already a fighter jet that can fly in any kind of weather. Snow, rain, you name it! It's half the price of F-35 and has no restrictions.

In fairness Biden was doing the same kind of thing but at least he knew which side he was on and it was not with Putin.

Why did you arrange the blowing up of the German then if it's not your war?

The only German we'd be blowing up is mutti Merkle. She single handedly destroyed Europe.
