SunSeek01
If you just need a border crossing, I went with the one in the Queen Vic restaurant on Soi 6, 2500 baht I think. It was nice, only 6 passengers, headphones. If you need a double entry tourist, I went to BKK Hua Lampong train station, to Nong Khai (about 900 for 2nd class bottom sleeper AC, very nice). Then Nong Khai tuk tuk to the bridge, one night in Lao and done. Plenty on here about it.

wans
the one I just used was certainly fast, Im beginning to think the risks of overstay are somewhat less the the risks of a high speed van crash
roban
the one I just used was certainly fast, Im beginning to think the risks of overstay are somewhat less the the risks of a high speed van crash These bloo*y idio*s (Mini bus drivers), caused me to go for a retirement visa. (Fortunately am 50 yo now). The last time, I did a Visa run with "Champion Tour" on Soi 13/2, I thought the basta*d (driver) tried to kill himself and his passengers too. Sorry for the harsh words, but these idiots are potential killers. I now avoid travelling with a Minibus, under all circumstances! Ohyesuare
First Class Visa Runs or Five Star Visa Runs, 6 seater VIP minibuses with comfortable seats, movies, wifi etc... and most importantly a non speeding skilled driver. That has been my experience with them at least.

SunSeek01
I do agree about the drivers, heard both First Class Visa Runs or Five Star Visa Runs drivers are the less evil. Ours was good (from Queen Vic) but it was still scary. I went with another a few years ago and it was hair raising. We are talking about passing on the right on a 2 lane. Defo if you need to go to Lao for a double, take the train or fly.
gk10002000
I used Key Visa on Soi LK Metro twice. Once for a simple 7 day extension (I didn't feel like waiting in line at Jomtien) and once for a drive across to Cambodia visa run. Really was a nice country drive. Mini van was not crowded. Driver was a young fellow and his co-worker was a nice Thai lady. She spoke plenty of english. Picked me up at 0730, and we were back in pattaya before 5 PM. had lunch at some little casino. Walked across a small foot bridge about 15 feet long over a small "moat". I don't even know what town it was. I do appreciate the other poster's comment about risk of over stay versus dying in a van crash with drivers named "satan"! But this was a day trip, kid seemed to be pretty good. Gone
I'm considering renting a taxi and doing it at a more reasonable hour on sunday. say leave around noonish if you're interested. Taxi drivers aren't much better however I always use Pattaya Taxi when I go to Swampy etc. and they have good drivers. 085-444-9035

Went by very quick with my feet up and watching movies, playing on my iPod. Seemed to take forever crammed into a 9 seater with Cambodia Inter. Yes, I was there today with them, excellent service, but don't use the Queen Vic Guesthouse, the fridge is rubbish, very small and not cold enough. seasia
I`ve used Good Tour & Travel, based on soi bukhao about 10 times. Always got me there and back OK although next time for convenience I`ll try a taxi from Cambodia Inter so I can go when I want.
Psych01
Hi H90, In your original posting didn't you say: "Hey all, need to do a visa run, just the stamp out-in job have a multiple Non-B visa. Can any one suggest any decent companies to do this with? Just moved to Pattaya so my knowledge of companies is basic.... Thanks in Advance.Hey all, need to do a visa run, just the stamp out-in job have a multiple Non-B visa. Can any one suggest any decent companies to do this with? Just moved to Pattaya so my knowledge of companies is basic.... Thanks in Advance. If you do indeed have a Non-B visa, then you would be better off either trying to see if you can register it at your local immigration office Soi 5 Jomtien, I think, if your in the Pattaya area. If your on a Non-O visa (tourist) multi, then Poi Pet is your best bet. There is a Yellow bus that will take you there for around 150bht then back for another 150bht, I think they go from bus terminal on North Road (main bus terminal). Apply for a Camobian e-Visa (US$25) here, http://www.mfaic.gov.kh/evisa/. Mini bus (vans) take about the same time as a normal bus. Also there is a minibus company, I think they are called Twin Goldengate, they go from Pattaya to Poi Pet and back, 260bht each way. I have used them once or twice in the past and a friend of mine refered them to me and has used them over the past 3-4 years. Link here , http://tggtravel.com/new/?page_id=9. Sorry it is in Thai but the contact number is there.
