BANGKOK: -- Red-shirt leaders will submit a new bail request for Yoswarit Chooklom next week, Pheu Thai party-list MP and red-shirt leader Weng Tojirakarn said yesterday.

Yoswarit, better known as Jeng Dokjik, had his bail revoked by the Criminal Court on Wednesday for violating conditions for public release. Weng said red shirts accepted the court's decision, as well as new conditions for other accused reds.

"We are preparing a fresh application for Yoswarit's bail next week. Moreover Pheu Thai Party leader and Deputy PM Yongyuth Wichaidit and Justice Minister Pracha Promnok were expected to be named in the bail application as guarantors," he said

Separately, several red-shirt leaders visited Yoswarit at the Bangkok Remand Prison yesterday.

Weng said a red-shirt rally would be held on September 16 to mark six years since the coup that toppled former PM Thaksin Shinawatra. All red-shirt leaders will speak on stage, including Yoswarit , if he is released.

Another political case the poor sod! We really need a reconciliation bill in this country and get these red shirts of the hook!

I mean what has he done wrong? He only publicly asked his followers to harass some judges, something that happens in every red democracy.

How many people named in that article are not facing legal action?

The logical argument against granting Jeng bail is that the court will lose credibility, of course that would assume that they still have some.

i would have thought the logical argument against granting him bail is that cant demonstrate to the court that he will abide by the bail conditions.

This guy is a totaly loose cannon, he does things on the spur of the moment which cause disdress to many people and then refuses to take responsibility for his actions by passing it off as a joke, he is where he should be now, if he is given bail AGAIN

the Courts credibility will be lost totaly
