Nope, man. The Thai personal income tax rate has not been increased yet. It's in the range of 0-37%.

The fact that the deductible amount increased could be because:

1. you have more income and would be in the range of higher tax rate; or

2. you have agreed to contribute more on your provident fund. The contribution rate for provident fund is normally from 5-15%.
