Saw Mra Raza Lin, a prominent ethnic Arakanese leader who has lived in exile in Bangladesh for 24 years, returned to Burma this week, reports the Narinjara news agency. The chairperson of the Rakhine Women’s Union and central committee member of the Arakan Liberation Party crossed the Naf River into Arakan State on Monday.  She and six other members of her party were greeted by around 600 supporters when they arrived in the state capital Sittwe by ferry from Buthidaung Township. On Thursday, she departed for Rangoon, where she hopes to meet other opposition leaders.
