I'm unclear on this, and read somehwere a Samsung phone on AIS 3G won't run on True 3G?

I've got a Samsung S2 GT-I9100T in MBK over a year ago that I think works on all networks in Thailand for 3G? 850/900/1800/2100 Mhz?? I use it on DTAC in Thailand and other networks in other countries.

I notice on the ITInvade web site they sell a DTAC/True model SSG-GT-I9100RWTTHL ? What's the difference? How many variants are there in Thailand of the Galaxy S2 on sale?

** I am looking to buy a new phone soon either the Galaxy S3 or the new Galaxy Note 2 when it comes out and want it to work on all networks 3G data with different country SIM's especially in SE Asia.

Why do Samsung sell phones of multiple variants and not just pack all into one model or have I misunderstood things?

Appreciate any feedback.

Yes, you are unclear. Any I9100/I9100T/I9300/I9300T will run on any 3G network here.

SGS3: I9300 or I9300T, both quad-band 3G: 850/900/1900/2100 MHZ

I think the Note 2 model number is N7100, not sure if there is a T-variant. The N7100 is quad-band 3G: 850/900/1900/2100 MHz.

T-variants for Telstra, supposedly optimized for their 850 MHz 3G network, and sometimes marketed here by DTAC, TrueMove (H) and other distributors.

SGS2: I9100/I9100T both quad-band 3G.

DTAC/True model SSG-GT-I9100RWTTHL - an I9100T white in color.

Maybe six or so S2 variants, allowing for color: pink, white, black (could be more) and 9100/9100T.

You should rest assured that any SGS3/SGNote2 will be fine.
