Parvis
The translation I get is "ผลที่ไม่ตั้งใจ" - but perhaps someone can elaborate better? Tx Edited September 2, 2012 by Parvis
Peppy
Your translation is correct, though "อัน" is sometimes used instead of "ที่".

Parvis
My original thought was more in line with "unintended economic consequences of monetary policies" - therefore my own translation with Peppy's addition may be more appropriate in this particular sense - but there are ofcourse other "applications" (particularily in Thailand). Peppy
How about ผลที่คาดไม่ถึง ? I think that would be more like "unexpected consequences". Same thing, though, really.
