Featured Replies

Hi everybody. I will appelreciat al tour comments regarding to my concern. I am a 1yrs HIV+ coming from the Philippines and i would like to try my kuck to work in Thailand. My concern is if i could get working visa if i am a HIV+?? I have my treatment here in my country and fortunately the last rezualt for mmy cd4 was increased in 33 percent and my viral load was not detected already. I hope i could hear from you guys cos i have even know any rukes about hiv regulations in thailand. And i would like also to ask if thee is a free medications in thailand like free medicines. Thank u

If your viral load was undetected that is okay as this gives an indication of what will happen to your CDC values. There are no free medications in Thailand, although I have heard that if you are in the Social Security Scheme you can get medication for nothing, but I have no specific details about this.

But there are no HIV tests required for working in Thailand.

There is no working visa in Thailand. You must find a job first, before you can aplly for a non-B visa and a work permit. The visa allowing you to stay and the work permit allowing you to work.
