9 Karat Condos Losing Luster For Long-Time Owners

PATTAYA:--About 20 co-op owners of the 9 Karat Condominium building filed a complaint at City Hall, alleging management neglect of the property. The condo owners have been paying maintenance fees for 10 years, but nothing has been done to improve the aging central Pattaya building.

PATTAYA – September 12, 2012 [PDN]: At meeting room 132 of Pattaya City Hall, nearly two dozen co-op owners of the 9 Karat Condominiums building came to file a complaint. The spokesperson for the irate condo owners was Mrs. Duangpee Pumsrikaew, a Thai owner of a 9 Karat condominium.

Residents charged the 9 Karat Condominium Juristic Person with failing to making any improvements to the facilities, despite the owners paying maintenance fees for 10 years. Also, there is no established procedure for the Juristic Person to hear complaints from residents, they said.

A Juristic Person is a legal entity consisting of several individuals acting as a single entity. In Thai real estate, a Juristic Person can be used for the management and development of condominium buildings.

I used to live there and found it very shabby. Moved up and beyond. Then went to visit a friend there a few months ago and was appalled.

Where has the luster gone and who was he lusting over?

[Maybe Yanks spell lustre with an er, if so my pedantry is misplaced!]whistling.gif

Assume you are renting a room, a bit different to to hotel.

Normally the rooms are owned by individuals who rent them out, and room service is not included.

Well, it's only 9 Karat.......if you want 24 Karat you have to pay for it.

U right about that :D

But I wanted to try something different maybe save a buck...

Rates is... 750/ night and 5000/ month but if u rent longer....

U have to pay for water and electricity....

Room about 35 sqm have shower, air, fridge , tv....

Laundry u can do u self down stairs or go laundry shop...

I am going to upload some pics later....
