Non O Visa On Wife's Income...........

Featured Replies

hi, male mid 30's from uk. currently on non o visa multi entry, married, visa from the uk last year.

current visa runs out soon (2 months time) my wife works and earns 40,000 plus every month (pays tax ect........) can i use my wifes income to get my next visa? if so whats the do's/ needs. will be applying in the udon immigration office.

thanks....

You cannot use your wife's income. They stopped that method a few years back.

You can either do it on your income only or 400,000 baht in a bank account to show you can cover expenses for a year ( in your name only - no joint accounts)

With the money in the bank method the money has to go no lower than 400, 000 baht in the 2 months prior to your extension so bear that in mind if you want to use that method as you said you've only got a couple of months left on your current stay.

Failing that you can obtain a 60 day extension to visit wife on any type of entry but not on itself. For multi entry non immigrant O visa issue Savannakhet currently issues without financial requirements. KL will issue with 100k in bank account.

thankyou.

Remember you can use your visa just before it expires and get another 90 entry and then get the 60 day extension.
