Dentist Recommendations In Bkk?

Featured Replies

I searched through the forums and didn't see this addressed so just thought I would throw it out there. Can anyone recommend a quality dentist they have worked with in Bangkok for some basic dental work (ie teeth cleaning, chipped tooth repair, etc.) I a somewhat overwhelmed with the myriad choices. Ideally, this would be somewhere in Silom/Sathorn neighborhood. Thanks.

Asavant have an excellent reputation did my friends implants who looked like Goofy before. Now still looks like Goofy but with a nice biggrin.png

Yes, Asavanant are very good. However, not in Silom/Sathorn area, but very close to Thong Lor skytrain station.

Great, thanks for the recommendation, will check them out...

I used Phyathai Hospital. There is one over the river from Silom on Petchasem Road.

Quality work and not as expensive as you might think.

Not exactly Silom/Sathorn but i've used both branches of Bangkok Smile. Preferred the one opposite the British Embassy at Ploenchit.

Bangkok Smile

Dr. Pitak in the medical clinic of the office complex. on the northeast corner of Sathorn and Chongnonsi Roads. (I have forgotten the name of the complex.; possibly Sathorn Thani. It is 200 - 300 metres from Chongnonsi BTS Station.

Walk past the Kodak shop; the medical clinic is on the left at the back.

When last I checked, he was there only Tues. afternoons and Sat. mornings (his main office is elsewhere). He speaks English, but his support staff do not, though they should be able to hand you a business card indicating exactly when he was there.

Bangkok National Hospital, soi Convent, Sathorn. Bloody expensive but you get what you pay for.

371 San Plau 8

Sathon Soi 5 or 6 (Baan Kanitha Soi)

The lady dentist that works there on Weds and Sat is excellent. She teaches at a top university the rest of the time.

Whitening for 5,000 Baht

Gold crown 15,000 Baht

Filling 300 or 500 Baht

She is honest and does excellent work, I go to her now instead of Bumrungrad as her work is better.

Bump!

I badly need a dentist in BKK, left things too long, now have at least 3 obvious dental problems that need fixing.

I am at Ekkami so Thong Lor would be convenient.

This Asavanant place sounds good but they don't list prices - any idea why? (or some rough ideas of what treatments cost)

Thanks. (I have emailed them that question too....)
