U=Thai or Foreigner ? And if the last one is so, how will you deal with the Thai land-owner regulations ?

The only titles over which a registered right of ownership or lease of lands are Chanott and the Nor Sor Sam Kor.

A foreigner who buy's land for agricultural purpose may not exceed 10 rai per household.

A foreigner whose spouse is a Thai national either legitimate or illegitimate, that Thai national can purchase land but the alien spouse of that Thai national must give a joint written confirmation that the money which that Thai national will expend on purchasing the land is wholly the separate property or personal effects of that Thai national and not the Sin Somros or jointly acquired property.

You also need to take extra money with you and deposit it in a Thai bank, which is specified.

You should check out if the lands may be leased (for 30 years) or bought.

I'm pretty sure that some of your statements are incorrect....in fact almost all of your post seems questionable.....I'm not trying to start an arguement but it just seems like alot of this is not correct. For instance...you wrote, "A foreigner who buy's land for agricultural purpose may not exceed 10 rai per household."....and everything that I have read indicates that foreigners can not own land at all in Thailand under any circumstance....never..... So, could you let us know where you got your information because maybe I am wrong and the law has changed....or maybe I'm wrong just because I'm wrong.
