2Nd Tourist Visa From Laos

Featured Replies

Hey everyone, I'm looking for advice on obtaining a second Thai tourist visa from Laos. The first one was from America and has been extended for 30 days.

I am aware that back-to-back tourist visas can be trouble sometimes (especially after they have been extended). I would like a multiple entry tourist visa and this would be the first back-to-back visa I would have. From reading the forums, it seems that Savanakhet is a sure bet... any ideas on Vientienne?

I have had 3 back to back from Vientiane, while waiting for documents from school for Non B. It should not be a problem for you at any embassy or consulate.

No worries there mate. Better to go on a Tuesday or Wednesday cos on Mon or Thursday it's HEAVING. (the agents from Bkk and elsewhere go Mon and Thurs)

I got a dual entry TV from Vientiane (in February) after an original dual TV from Canada, both had been extended, I have an ED now as of July. I talked to guy on the bus the last time I was there who was on his 4th TV after a 1 year non-B. He had the red stamp warning that there might not be another one the next time through but he still had his 4th back-to-back in hand.
