German escapes with minor injuries following high speed road crash in Jomtien

PATTAYA:--A 44 year old German was lucky to escape with his life following a high speed road crash which saw his brand new luxury car flipped onto its side as the vehicle slammed into the entrance to an apartment complex car-park.

Just before 1.30am on Tuesday Police and rescue services were called to a commercial building located at the Tepprasit Road intersection with the Thappraya Road in Jomtien which also accommodates a sales office for a Condominium project in the Wongamat area. The sales office for the development, Modus Condominium, was destroyed by the Black Mercedes Benz E-350 Coupé which was seen by the Security Guard at the complex being driven at a high rate of speed down the Tepprasit Road and as the car approached the junction there was no indication that brakes were applied.

The vehicle slammed into the entrance of the car park and destroyed the sales office before coming to rest on its side inside the car park entrance. The driver, known only as Mr. Christian, was trapped for a time in the vehicle and was removed form the vehicle by rescue workers who were amazed at the relatively minor injuries sustained by him. Mr. Christian was taken to Hospital suffering from a deep laceration to his right leg.

I am curious if he was drunk and they say they want to know why he did not break. I also want to know why he was speeding or for that matter why anyone speeds?

He maybe had a beef with the condominium project of the office he demolished?

I think Mr Christian is swiss and owns a popular disco in walking street.

Wow - no wonder he looks a bit shook-up in the photo's.
