Mox Travel In Bkk

Featured Replies

Hello

A simple question!

I saw flights on Mox travel internally in Thai.

The same on Thai airways site but Thai airways stares that I can't book flights for wife's sister from UK unless I go to Thai office in UK and show ID etc etc

Mox travel just confirmed I can book via them with Thai air and no credit card on check is needed !!

Any experience?

Dont want to book and she gets refused travel!!!

Thank you

It is true but also a bit of a lie, airlines always have the right to confirm form of payment-Mox will book via the GDS and will issue the ticket with your cc, there is always the chance TG will ask. A domestic sector is not a lot of money why not send the money and allow them to buy from a local agent in cash.

I would ring TG UK and ask if they will accept a scanned copy of your credit card and then ask them to note it in the OSI/SSR field then you're safe, check in agents will see it's been approved.

I have travelled with and booked tickets for others using Mox Travel. They are excellent. FYI. The airlines only checks for the credit card if the ticket is noted as being paid with a credit card. Anyone that has ever booked tickets using Mox knows that Mox just denotes paid in full. With that note you could have paid for your ticket with cash and the airlines would have no reason to ask for your credit card. Miox is trustworthy and easy to travel with.
