Prachuap Khiri Khan Office

Featured Replies

Hello! I want to know if it is possible to do the 10 days extension in this office. Thanks for the information.

You wont get 10 days extension at any Immigration Office.

7 days, 30 days, 60 days, 90 days, 12 months if you qualify.

Yes. Prachuap Khiri Khan Immigration accept extension applications.

You are probably looking at 7 days to leave the Country.

Ok,thanks for the answer. One more thing, the extension is from the end of the visa or from the day you made it? I have to bring any more thigs apart the copy of passport, the photos and the fly ticket?

Isnt Prachuap Immigration office in Hua Hin...or is there one now actually in Prachuap?

If you are applying for 7 days it will probably be from the date you apply as it is not really an extension.

It is an application refusal giving you 7 days to leave.

They might want to see an exit flight ticket.

The office that I'm calling prachuap is the one near to the frontier of Mianmar, in dan singkhon.

so if I want to leave the 13(I've got plane ticket for that day) It's better to do the "extension" the 5? My visa expires the 6. I've read that this application is valid for a 7-10 days, is this information wrong? Thanks so much for your help, I'm a bit lost in this theme.

The actual extension application is marked as not approved but you have 7 days to depart without being overstay. This must be done at an immigration office (not a border crossing - not sure if that is what you mention or not).

No, it's not a border cross, it's an inmigration office near the border cross. I dot understand wath you say with it's not aproved.

There is no 7 day extension of stay. But they will allow you to remain 7 days after an unapproved application for any extension of stay to arrange your affairs.

So as I undersand if my visa ends the 6 and I want to stay till the 13, I've to do the "extensio" the 5?

I would as that is how it is designed. Although I have seen recent reports that people have been allowed to do early and the 7 days were added to current stay as would be the case in a normal extension of stay. But I would not count on that happening. Most people would also have the option to cross border and return for 15 days visa exempt entry and that might not be any more expensive if near border (and even if not for many places).

Sing Khon does offer extensions etc, apparently they reopened late last year. apologies for confusion.

The Immigration Office in Hua Hiin is an extension of the Singkhon Immigration Office which probably accounts for them always being re-located. They don't have their own dedicated premises.

The office was formed due to the increase in business with increasing numbers of foreigners applying for extensions of stay and such like.

Before the Hua Hin branch opened we had to travel to the Thai/Burma border at Singkhon (around 150 kms round trip) or go to another main office such as BKK
