Got an upcoming flight with China Southern, MAN-AMS-CAN-BKK and back and just wondered if anyone had flown this route or similar.

They are pretty much the same price as the Middle East airlines of whom's flights at this price have a very long connection.

Im Skymiles Elite Plus so i ''might'' get upgraded and i can use the business class lounges etc, just thought i may as well add to my mileage.

Any pluses or pit falls?

Seems like no-one has used them, try airlinequality (sorry but that is all I can say as well)

I must be the only one brave /daft/cheap enough to try 'em out.

not really for me, my mate used them about 18 mths ago, wasn't impressed.

Safety big issue for me and even a free flight with an airline with dodgy safety record wouldn't sell me,

They may be great, everyones different.

Their safety record isn't that bad really. They haven't had a crash for 15 years..
