Bringing Meat/Cheese into Thailand
I brought in a whole aged rib eye from Australia, had it in a cooler bag with a few sheets of frozen cubes wrapped around it and inside my large bag, no one stopped me, also brought in honey and creamed honey as well as a few other bits & pieces. Now though I am able to get it from local shops so I only look at getting things not available here. -

Advisor Urges Public Not to Criticise PM Paetongtarn for using iPad
Jirayu Huangsap, an advisor to the Prime Minister, has asked the public to refrain from criticizing the Prime Minister for using an iPad to read speeches. He clarified that while the Prime Minister often speaks without a script, international forums require accuracy. At these global events, world leaders must adhere closely to prepared statements, as such agreements cannot be altered in the way impromptu speeches might be. Jirayu emphasized that Thailand is stepping onto the world stage, and he urged Thais to show support for their leader. Jirayu addressed recent criticisms surrounding the Prime Minister’s use of an iPad during the recent Asia Cooperation Dialogue (ACD) summit. He explained that the Prime Minister was following protocol typical for international agreements, where every word must be carefully read to maintain accuracy. According to Jirayu, this approach is necessary because international statements carry a weight that general speeches do not. “Globally, citizens are more concerned about the substance and benefits of their leaders' actions rather than the medium they use to communicate," Jirayu said. He stressed that these actions ultimately contribute to the country’s progress on an international level. Jirayu also pointed out that the Prime Minister is comfortable speaking off-the-cuff at domestic events, but for significant global forums, prepared remarks are essential. He likened this to government policy announcements, where adherence to exact wording is required. Guest House Fire Off Pattaya Beach Road
Emergency responders on the morning of October 7 at approximately 0900, were called to a fire on Soi 13 off of Pattaya Beach Road. The fire was reported in a bar below a guest house, and smoke seen coming from the bar and the Tattoo shop next door. The fire was quickly dealt with by responders, but resorted in smoke logging of the premises. As the fire service were using ventilation fans to clear the smoke a hotel guest was spotted on the second floor balcony with smoke still lingering from the room behind them. A ladder of put up on the front of the building to access the guest, but he was led to safety by firefighters internally through the guest house, with a towel over his head. The tourist was given first aid for the effects of smoking inhalation at the scene. The cause of the fire and extent of damage is still under investigation. eVisa had it's teething problems early on as would be expected. Many reports of how much the system has been improved. eVisa for Thailand applied for in UK on example. I travel often to Vietnam and since eVisa is available for visa for Vietnam it's a breeze. Simple application takes 5 minutes tops. Visa issued within 5 days. -

White House Rebukes False Claims Amid Hurricane Helene Relief Efforts
As Trump only cares about himself, BAR NONE, he has no concern in spreading lies and misinformation relative to Hurricane Helene, even though it hampers recovery efforts. Trump's only concern is him being re-elected so that he can minimize the chances of him joining Bubba in prison, where he belongs.
