I've been asked if a Libyan national will need to obtain a visa to enter Thailand from outside the country. I thought that a normal 30 day visa would be issued, but a quick search says otherwise. Has anyone any idea about this?

A "normal" 30 day entry is visa exempt and they do not qualify for that or for visa on arrival so will require a visa prior to travel to Thailand.
