I am currently on a 3 month non O which ends on the 12th of feb. I have

everything ready to submit for my extention. I was told yesterday that ther was a death

in the family, so I have to return to the UK on the 7th.

I should be only back in the UK for a couple of weeks. What will happen now with my visa.

I don't really want to apply for another 3 month visa and then wait for the extention process again.

Can anyone suggest what to do.

Thanks

So make the extension request now. If it is for retirement you will get it immediately and can then apply for a re entry permit at the same time. If it is for support Thai wife you will get a 30-45 day extension of stay stamp and can get a re entry permit for that time period. It appers you will be back in time.

Thanks yes its for supporting thai wife. So this can all be done at immigration in one

day? Does the re-entry permit cost anything?

Thanks again

No. For supporting Thai wife will have to have you return 30 to 45 days later but you will receive and extension until that time and you can purchase a re entry permit for travel.

1,900 baht for extension application and 1,000 baht for re entry permit. Photos for each. Plus the normal proof for extension and the wife (very important).

Make sure you get the Re-Entry permit, otherwise it will make trouble for your extension based on being married.
