Ads are coming from 3rd party ad networks. Apparently the advertiser/network hasn't figured out how to target correct language, show Thai ads to Thai users and English for us non-Thais.

It's pretty easy to do language targeting actually. The way they are doing it now is a waste of advertiser money and they are likely to get a bad click-through-rate and ROI

A good strategy for foreigners in Thailand is to learn the language. Learning to read ads and newspaper headlines is a good start.

i can read normal thai but not newspaper headline thai, they use some kind of weird fonts and so do many ads.
