nong38 Posted October 17, 2012 Share Posted October 17, 2012 From what I have read in the UK press it looks like the Germans are showing what they want for buying up the bonds to sort this mess out and Brussels dont like it, it appears from what I saw today that Germany wants more control of other states budgets ( taxes and spending ) and I can understand why, on the other hand it sounds a bit like an end game like the United States of Germany and that would not go down well with some european countries. I would guess the UK is laying down plans for a withdrawal ( just in case ) and that would meet with the approval of the UK public along with a renogotiation of what the Uk's position would be, just economic one would hope, similar to Switzerland.
