Thai Consulate In Cebu-City Philippines

Featured Replies

There is a Thai consulate in Cebu City. Has anybody applied for a Thai visa there?

If yes, is it any easier there than at the Thai embassy in Manila, which is notorious for a lot of red tape?

Go over and ask??

As Cebu Pacific Air is now advertising cheap flights expect will likely start to have some reports but even Manila seems to be a bit better than in previous years lately if clearly meeting requirements.

One of my objectives is to avoid Manila.Last time I was in Angeles(clark), I asked at an agency whether they could do Thai tourist visas from there, they said that you had to go to the embassy in person(just like in Vientiane, and unlike PP or Penang)

So if anybody has managed to get a visa from anywhere outside of Manila-either through an agency

or at cebu- it would be great to hear from you(preferably a "farang", as I imagine there are different rules for the Philippinos)

It has long since been known Manila is one of the worst places for a visa. My hunch is if its better as Lopburi says, its for a rrason - document/cause.

Fly to Cebu and on to BKK and give it a go

or...fly back to mainland.

If you have a few visas Penang aint gonna be much help either.

Time for you to toss a bag on your back and go sort it out. There are no longer easy options for the region. Just luck...
