Street Gang Arrested in combined local operation

Part of the gang arrested this week in a coordinated raid by local authorities

PATTAYA: -- Authorities in the Pattaya area worked together with Sattahip and other authorities as they arrested a complete gang of local hoodlums after numerous complaints from the public

Thursday saw the arrival in Sattahip of a complete gang of street hoodlums who had created havoc for local residents over the recent past., Now safely chained and handcuffed as they were brought before the press, along with several motorbikes which police consider may have been stolen during their numerous crimes.

Charged with multiple assaults, some using knives and other weapons, attacks on motorcyclists, theft, House robbery and drug possession, the 15 gang members , with ages ranging from 43 years old .. down to teenagers, some as young as 14 years old were processed by police as the long list of alleged crimes was read out to them as a charge.

The gang members were reported on various occasions for motorcycle theft, and attacks on motorcyclists including one which led to severe injuries for the rider. They were found in possession of firearms and ammunition which was also confiscated.

The police did a nice job by getting this gang of the street. I would dare to hope it doesn't remain to this single action and that they'll actually continue to catch all the other scum as well. After all...that might be one bridge to far, although hope doesn't get one killed
