Jody0012
Hi guys.. I am due for my 3 month visa run this weekend. I don't want to waste any time doing this visa run, so basically my question is can I do a one day visa run to Cambodia, since I have a Non O visa already? Is it possible just to go in, stay for a hour and 2 and then enter Thailand again? Thanks guys really appreciate any comment
Mario2008
You just have to leave the country, enter and leave another country and can come back straight away. There is no requirement to be out of the country for a minumum ammount of time. Visa run: applying for a visa in another country Border run: leaving Thailand and make a hop over the border to get a new entry into Thailand. jimyoung
I did a border run last month to cambodia, I used Thaivisarun.com. They pick you up at ekkamai 9.30am and you get back about 7pm. For 2000B they sort out visa in to cambodia and a meal on the bus. Good service, i'll will be using them again next time.
Jody0012
Thanks so much guys... Sorry I have one more question.. Do I need to obtain a visa to enter Cambodia for this border run?
puchooay
Visas can be obtained at the border. I would tell you the cost but they tend to vary from border crossing to border crossing, day to day, and Immigration officer to Immigration officer
Jody0012
Thanks.. I am going to Aranyaphet Border Crossing.. At this crossing you don't need a visa if you going to the casino in Cambodia.

IMA_FARANG
Thanks so much guys... Sorry I have one more question.. Do I need to obtain a visa to enter Cambodia for this border run? ------------------ Yes, you need to enter Cambodia....or more precisely you must exit Thailand, and get that Thai exit stamp in your passport. Then (if using that border run service another poster mentioned) you cross into Cambodia. You get a Cambodian "entrance" stamp. You can then can turn around and enterThailand again....and you will be stamped back in for another 90 days. But you do have to exit and immeadiately re-enter just to keep it looking "legal"....making your Thai and Cambodian "entry" stamps and your "exit" stamps match up, you see. In order to do this however, you need something OTHER than a single entry Thai visa.....a double or triple entry tourist visa or some kind of multiple entry Thai visa will do. But I think you already know that. The physical part of the crossing of the border into and out of Cambodia takes no more than 15 minutes usually.
