Chaisit Tells Pitak Siam To Desist From Anti-Govt Rally

Chaisit, who is also a cousin of former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra, said he was not worried about Boonlert using the masses to pressure the government because he believes the ruling Pheu Thai Party can attract bigger crowds.

An amusing add-on this morning with Pheu Thai Party Spokesman Prompong urging Thais to show their disapproval for the anti-government rally by turning on their car headlights during the day of the rally as a form of protest against the protest.

Meanwhile, the latest ABAC Poll shows a majority of Thais are more interested in the anti-government rally than they are with the upcoming debate in Parliament.

Up here where I live the cars and trucks use a lot more petrol/diesel if the lights are on. That's why they drive with the parking lights on until it is totally pitch dark. Just ask someone.
