I need to really translate this sentence into thai - pls help

'i will send a small present with the postcard'

does this sound alright?

'ฉันจะส่งปัจจุบันขนาดเล็กที่มีโปสการ์ด'

Nope. Your use of present is wrong, meaning "now" and not a gift. Try something like this:

ฉันจะส่งโปสการ์ดกับของขวัญขนาดเล็กไปให้

This would be interpreted as:

I will send a small sized Now(=present time) that has postcard.

Normallly say "แล้วฉันจะส่งของขวัญและโปสการ์ดไปให้นะ "

dismiss the ขนาดเล็ก or small as it dosent have positive meaning

the word present can be translate in Thai as a gift or as "now" that is, ปัจจุบัน(now) or ของขวัญ(gift)

I would say จะส่ง x ให้(คุณ) or จะส่ง x ไปหาคุณ

จะส่งไปให้ sound a bit strange to me, but I don't know if it's wrong (probably not). Some ideas?

I use the google search engine (not translate), putting a phrase in quotes whenever I'm unsure of how to word something. If I get a lot of hits, I'm probably OK. If not, I'll remove the quotes or change what I'm searching on, and then look through the hits to see if anything matches what I was trying to say.

I think this is informal sentence, so ฉัน can be dropped and และ can be replaced with informal กับ

so it is "แล้วจะส่งของขวัญกับโปสการ์ดไปให้นะ", which sounds more native.

I agree with this - although I think that retaining the idea of a "small gift" is not inappropriate - lest the receipent expects something extravagant. Also, I'd add the word พร้อม in front of กับ becuase I think it helps place emphasis on the fact that the small gift and the postcard will come together. Although, adding พร้อม is not required. I just like it.
