Hi Guys & Gals,

Does anyone know where it is possible

to play Table Tennis in Bangkok?

Maybe Pay to Play by the Hour ?

There are so many Snooker / Poole Halls

- so I hope there is a similar TT room somewhere

My previous Condo had a Table Tennis

room for their Residents

Thanks

Table tennis in Bkk. is hard to find. A few years I wandered into the large indoor sport building in Lumpini Park, near the takraw court and swimming pool (yes there is a pool but I've never seen it open). In the sport building were 3 or 4 tables with Thai teens playing. The building office has some paddles and balls to use. I played for a while with a kid for free. Haven't been back there for a long time.

In Pattaya there is a real table tennis club behind an open front restaurant on Central Road, right-hand side going away from the beach, between 2nd and 3rd Roads. First-class equipment and some good players. Not sure of the prices as I only watched.

Some years back in Pattaya there was a bar on soi Buakao called the Table Tennis bar. It has two tables but few customers. The problem was the ceiling fans kept blowing the balls all over the place. :o

Ok;

Get on Sukhumvit, go through Bang-Na, and the next shopping complex is at Samrong... Samlong, whatever. Its about Soi 107 or 109. On the right you will see it.

Up on the 3rd of $th floor in the shopping Complex there is play by the hour Table Tennis.

Roger,

I f you manage to find one in town, would ya let me know too?

Why pingpong is so difficult to find a place to play!! I have been searching for ages as well and most spot clubs dont have it.

How good are you at Ping pong? :o

If you visit Pattaya you can play on the top floor of the Mike Shopping Mall. It is et up for competitiions but you can pay by the hour. You will even get the locals challenging you. The kids love to play falangs.
