I am interested in getting a Mercedes E200 coupe from one of the parallel importer in BKK.

Would like to know anyone have experience dealing with them?

Anyone have company to recommend?

Thanks in advance.

New or second-hand?

If new, try J Auto on Srinakarin road (next to Seacon Square).

Second hand, look around on taladrod.com or one2car.com, go to the different places, inspect the car yourself, etc...

Car tents don't sell new car, Car dealers do.

Just look at authorized car dealers of your brand of interest. Why you need reliability for brand new car?

I do happen to pass by a few car tents that have a few new parallel import cars but that's not important.

Since I am not buying a new car I don't need to worry about the condition of the car, but are there anythings I need to pay attention to when dealing with parallel importers?

Buying from authorized dealer is more expansive for the same model and specifications. Factor in the adoption fee for servicing with them still look more worth it to me.

i remember reading about mercedes benz will not service paralel import cars in future.

Based on my conversation with the authorize dealer a few day back.

They will charge an adoption fee to service parallel import cars with production date up till 2012.. Car with production date of 2013 onwards will not be able to service with them anymore.
