Nok or AirAsia domestic / foreigner no passport ok?

Will need to fly Nok or AirAsia domestic with my passport waiting on a visa at embassy. Does airline accept copy of passport or other ID in lieu? Thai drivers lic perhaps?

ok great tx

I flew NOK from Chang Rai to Don Muang last week with no passport, just a color copy. I did have to explain to the agent that I was awaiting replacement of a lost passport.

drivers licence no problem

always show local drivers license for domestic

Thai DL works every time...no problem

Dont forget ID for baby too. I did once and they let us onto a flight to Bangkok nonetheless. Coming back I spent 10 minutes discussing with three levels of management why we should be allowed to take baby back home. Eventually someone senior enough to recognise that the "you allowed her to get here, how am I supposed to get her home" debating point had some validity.

My fault of course and I was appropriately polite
