BB1950 Posted December 11, 2012 Share Posted December 11, 2012 (edited) Maybe because of Chaiya Poon Inn? The soi actually is called Chaloem Phrakiat 25. Check it out on Google Maps. Chaloem Phrakiat is Pattaya Sai 3 (Third Rd.) so, possibly other names - Soi 25, Sai 3; or Third Rd. Soi 25? Chaiyaphreuk Road is in Jomtien. There are no street signs with Chaiyaphum or Chaiyapoon. If Chaiyapoon -- an inn on Chaloem Phrakiat 25 -- is a true Thai name (?), then some local Thais are mis-representing the soi as Chaiyaphum, after the province. The local authority needs to clarify and also employ commonly-used names on its street signs. We pay them enough in taxes and tourist charges.
