Meat Thermometer?

Featured Replies

Where to buy?Makro didn't have any.

I've seen them in Robinson's house ware section, Villa Supermarkets, Foodland Supermarkets, maybe even in Tops Supermarkets.

Verasu also has them, not mentioned on their site but I picked mine up there.

I also bought an in oven thermometer, hang from the rack style - I was surprised that my oven was off quite a bit.

Where are you ?

If in Pattaya you will find them in the crockery/glassware shop just before Foodland or the one on Second Road in the block of shops just before Welcome Plaza.

the in-oven ones are neat as you usually find that the oven temperature is wildly out of calibration per the indicator or the little dial gauge on the oven door window, by as much as 50% sometimes (300oC indicated but around 200oC actual)...

with an expensive roast in the oven you need some accuracy...
