Cost for a 28 day single entry is 1440 baht, collection 2 days later (ie not express) The Social Visit visa CAN be extended once inside Myanmar This info direct from the consular section head at the Myanmar Embassy in Bangkok today. From this link http://www.myanmarembassybkk.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/02/ME-BKK-VISA-Infor.pdf I read that I need to have "sponsorship letter from a relative in Myanmar should also be submitted".
