I wonder of Korkeaw will be a speaker at the humongous rally of the UDD/Red Shirts at Bonanza, near Khao Yai tomorrow.

He will be extremely well received if he does. One thing the application of these 'double standards' do, is create a victimization aura around them. In fact, a book authored by Jatuporn, features a photo of him on the front cover in prison shackles. It is a rite-of-passage for some.

Will they have road barricades to keep people from attending it and 20,000 armed policemen to control the attendees. Or will it be the normal PT double standards for the less than gifted.

And of course under the new Yingluck mob control rules no one under 18 is allowed. Wait and see.

So, if the court tries Abhisit and Suthep it will be doing its job, but if it tries Korkeaw and the other UDD leaders it is engaging in Judicial harassment?

Many folks are waiting to see Abhisit and sidekick Suthep in prison shackles also. That would go a huge way to get at the stigma of "double standards". It may serve to bring the balance you reference.

How about keep on trolling.

To be fair Bonanza is a private estate.

There is some doubt whether it should be as it is in s national park.

Goes to show that there is money in grass roots :D

Yes, Korkaew did address the humongous UDD/Red Shirt rally at Bonanza, Khao Yai last night. The only difference between this rally address and others by him in the past, is that he was accompanied by his wife and two children up on stage, who stood beside him his entire speech.

As an aside, skimming media headlines this morning, I see scant attention paid to this huge political rally, easily the most significant political event of yesterday. Without getting into a numbers game, suffice it to say, participants were awed by the turnout, and organizers would have been super pleased.

Lack of media attention to this event demonstrates their orientation. I can just imagine if this had been a PAD-Dem event how it would have been treated. Reminds me how similar nation wide events were ignored previously, and then they wondered what hit them when R'song happened.

Which band's played at this political party... sorry event.

Or was it just DJ music.

And maybe there is scant details due to the fact that these parties are weekly or monthly events around the country.

To get media attention, they could try saying something new, or even interesting, or fall back on lobbing explosive projectiles -that worked before.

According to some (one) reports, they got 300,000 to a previous rally in the last 12 months or so. Maybe they didn't get enough people to turn up this time to get the media interested.

Let me see now. There was a previous poster (god rest his soul) that always claimed to attend the red mob rallies and would give the report of hundreds of thousands of salivating reds (waiting for the Dear Leader call in). But it was strange when we requested pictures of him being there, well you guessed it. No response. Could it be........................?

It's strange that in most countries judges are ranked above the here today, gone tomorrow politicians and yet in Thailand the opposite appears to be the case. If our PM decides to shoot one of his family over dinner he would expect to spend the next week in the cells not be chairing the next cabinet meeting.

Still that's what makes Thai politics such fun...... as long as you don't take it seriously.
