Crime Buriram Village in Shock as Man Attempts to Have Sex with Livestock

Residents of a rural village in Buriram province have been left horrified after a 37-year-old man was found wandering the area requesting to have sexual intercourse with villagersâ livestock, including cows and dogs. The man was later discovered naked and behaving erratically near a cattle pen, prompting fears for public safety and concerns over his mental health and possible drug use. The disturbing incident occurred in Moo 5, Chum Het Subdistrict, Mueang Buriram District. Local police were called by concerned residents after the man, later identified as Mr. Ittiporn, approached multiple villagers asking for permission to engage in sexual acts with their animals. Witnesses say he showed no signs of shame or restraint and refused to leave the area despite being repeatedly warned. Mr. Chaisak, a 70-year-old cattle owner, told reporters that Mr. Ittiporn came to his house and directly asked to have sex with one of his cows. When refused, he allegedly responded by saying he would settle for the dog if not the cow. Despite being driven away, he returned that evening and attempted to hide near the cattle pen, still making disturbing requests. Eventually, Mr. Ittiporn was found completely nude behind the cattle pen. Upon seeing authorities arrive, he climbed a tree in an attempt to avoid capture. Police tried to reason with him, but he remained uncooperative until they tricked him by pretending to offer him what he wanted. Only then did he descend, allowing officers to detain him. During the arrest, police found a used syringe among Mr. Ittipornâs discarded belongings. He reportedly claimed it was used for HIV treatment, though villagers and authorities suspect he may have been under the influence of narcotics. His incoherent speech and erratic behaviour further fuelled suspicions of drug-induced psychosis. A background check revealed a history of substance abuse. Ms. Jiraporn Saengkutlao, the village head, expressed serious concerns over the incident. âThis man poses a real threat to our community. We have children and elderly residents. This kind of behaviour is dangerous and unacceptable,â she said. âWe urge relevant authorities to step in and ensure he receives the treatment he needs while protecting our community from future risks.â Mr. Ittiporn has since been transported to Buriram General Hospital for psychiatric evaluation and further investigation. These individuals are implicated in the catastrophic collapse of the State Audit building in Bangkok, which occurred during the March 28 earthquake. Although the tragedy claimed the lives of around 92 people, the gravity of the incident extends beyond the casualty figures, sending ripples of fear and concern through the public. The court cited the likelihood of the defendants fleeing as the primary reason for denying their bail plea. Furthermore, it advised that the Thai police still need to question 15 more witnesses as part of an ongoing investigation. Italian-Thai Development Plc, the main contractor of the ill-fated building, now finds itself in the spotlight along with its top executives, designers, and engineers. Of the 17 charged, two suspects successfully postponed their surrender for documentation reasons, set to resolve by May 19. During transport, Premchai was given special arrangements due to his health condition. While the other detainees travelled to court in a van, Premchai was transported separately in a pickup truck, owing to his need for a wheelchair and urinary catheter. This arrangement followed authorities enforcing equal treatment for all defendants, despite Premchai's initial request to use his own vehicle. This legal debacle is not Premchai's first. Back in 2019, he served two and a half years in prison for wildlife offences. These charges followed the discovery of illegal hunting at a sanctuary, involving the carcasses of protected animals like a rare black panther. The scandal over these hunts shocked the nation, further complicating Premchaiâs public profile and compounding his legal troubles. As the investigation unfolds, the implications of the building's collapse, both legal and societal, await further clarity. With additional witnesses and reports pending, the ramifications for those implicated remain a focal point of public anticipation.
