Popular Post rene123
That is a truly lovely shot, villagefarang. It captures the mountain roads of Thailand, perfectly. It just makes a biker want to get on the scoot and RIDE!
rene123
We'll have to wait and see what the Mods say, .... when they wake up !!! Ring Road Samui during Songkran Doesn't look like anyone is going anywhere in a hurry. It looks like the Andaman Sea area just after a Tsunami warning. samuijimmy
In contrast to City traffic, this road / track in northern Songkhla rice growing area, near Ranot, always reminds me of parts of the Canadian Prairies... flat ! This was about 10 kms in from the main road... This is where the Thai Buffalo roam, depending on time of year ! The canal network provides alternate way to get from A to B, plus used flooding rice paddies. Definitely a road less traveled!
