A Friend Is Coming, Needs A Room, Any Recommendations?

Featured Replies

1st off Happy New Year to everybody.

I have a friend coming for 2 months starting in mid Januray. He needs a nice, clean, quiet place with WiFi budget would be 4000-7000 baht. I used to send him to nuanpranee guesthouse right down the back of moo moaung (spelling) soi1, but he doesn't want to stay there this year.

Any recommendations please?

The Dome is in that price range, with inet. Clean. Pleasant. Handy.Just west past Kad Suan Kaew. Be sure to tell them a month in advance when you're leaving.

down the street from the Dome at the canal road intersection on the left are also some apartments in the upper 7k range.

I'll second Kamalas Guesthouse clean great location and great owners

Making a - possibly inaccurate - assumption that you are Dutch and your friend is too, why not try Villa Oranje on Wualai rd (the Silver street). Efficiently run by a Dutchman. try googling Villaoranje.nl. Same ownership as the guest-house of the same name in Pattaya.
