Hello, we have been going to Thailand for years and have a house we stay in in Buriram rural !! I have never seen a snake at the house or in the garden and wonder why, I might add I have never seen a snake in the wild ever, why oh why might that be, are they scared of the fat falang when I arrive.

Just interested to why there are no snakes around us ?? Any ideas ?

Think yourself lucky!

I can guarantee that there will be plenty of snakes in your area. But if you really want to increase your chances of seeing any, go out after dark with a torch & scour among any fields, scrub or bush in your vicinity.

Wear a good pair of boots & if you happen to come across this one... (highly likely)

Ah okay, maybe best they go seen and not heard, nice video of your snake

So far I have seen multiple cobras (the last one was a monocled cobra) a rasp, a green tree snake and a golden green tree snake, but not all in the same place.
