Leaving Expensive Helmet Tethered To Your Bike

Featured Replies

This looks not bad at all for 990 Baht

EDIT: ahh just realized it is just the adapter & cable :)

I do keep a Xena "like" lock in the tray under my seat which I use on the disk

at night. But will have to see if this adapter fits or not.

One 700B helmet is still twice the minimum daily wage, they can probably sell it on for 300. Not too bad for 2 seconds work wink.png

True. Or maybe trade for one Yaba pill...

I used to lock up my Real helmet to the bike by the strap, left it parked right beside the motocy taxi guys, came back 2hrs later. Helmet gone, obviously vut as the lock was still on. Asked the bikey,s, oh what a surprise no one saw nothing. So unless you have a cable lock you can feed through the helmet visor, then my advice is take it with you.

I agree. I have a Real 2,300 baht helmet and I bought a bicycle cable lock for 100 baht at Big C. Its a combination lock, so no key to carry around. A determined thief could still cut the cable, so for a very expensive helmet, I'd take it with me and/or leave it at a bar, restaurant that I trust.
