September 29, 201411 yr Popular Post My gf was about go to sleep at her shop a few months ago when she heard a loud thud outside her shop followed by pitiful whimpering. A car had hit a dog and had driven it off leaving it to die on the road. As disturbed as she was by the scene, my gf got a neighbour to help her lift the dog and bring it behind her shop. The dog's back was apparently broken and I told her over the phone that he probably should be put to sleep because he would never walk again and would have a terrible quality of life. I was wrong and fortunately she's always been stubborn enough not to listen to me. Over the next days and weeks she patiently nursed 'Chokdee' back to health, feeding him, cleaning him, etc. When he was clearly strong enough I purchased a wheelchair for him from the US, and now he can get about almost the same as a fully able dog. I learned a lot from this experience and gained a new respect for my girlfriend. And fortunately Chokedee has forgiven my rush to judgement. Great little guy... The day after his accident A few weeks later when we first tried out his new wheelchair And how he was doing a couple of weeks ago Edited September 29, 201411 yr by Docno

October 2, 201411 yr Popular Post Firstly I would like to applaud Docno and his good lady for doing what they did for Chokdee.Your hard work and kindness will be repaid tenfold by the love and friendship from Chokdee.Wonderful photos also!!! Secondly it saddens me to inform you guys about the loss of our little dog Kài jieow (Omelet) last Sunday Morning to a drunken driver. The reckless idiot riding his motorbike whilst full of Whisky came tearing up our Soi at high speed and plowed straight into our little guy. Thankfully Omelet was killed out right and didn't suffer. As many of you guys know,I am overseas at the moment, just as well I think because I am not sure if I would have the power to restrain myself from seeking justice......but I'm a patient man. I did want to post this earlier on in the week, but after seeing Docno's wonderful post it just didn't seem right to directly follow it up with this one. My apologies for bringing doom and gloom to this fine thread,I know that you are all animal lovers here and I just wanted to share my news. Shaggy
