Rent Apartment Near Thammasat University (Banglamphu, Chinatown, Pinklao...)

Featured Replies

Hello everybody,

I am currently doing an exchange semester at Thammasat University (Tha Prachan Campus) and I am living at Amarin Mansion (Arun Amarin, Pinklao).

The apartment costs me 6500 Baht/month and it`s a 20-25 minutes walk to the University.

The distance is fine but I would love to move to a nicer apartment with a pool to do some sports every morning.

Does anyone know a nice apartment in Banglamphu, ChinaTown, Pinklao or somewhere else not too far from the campus?

My budget would be up to 10.000 Baht (+Electricity/Water).

Tomorrow I will have a look at M.N. Residence in Banglamphu. Any experience with this one?

If someone else needs similar information, I already checked:

Amarin Mansion (I stay there right now)

Sivalai (nice, but far and a bit isolated)

3J (very near, but terrible)

Lumpini Place Pinklao (distance okay, Pool is a bit small)

Lumpini Park Pinklao (very nice but pretty far)

PSB Apartments (very near, just across the river, but the good rooms are expensive)

Lumpini Suite Pinklao and Ivy Residence Pinkao look nice on pictures, but I didn`t find free rooms)

Thanks in advance!

Andreas

MN Residence is quite nice, they have a small swimming pool, but no gym unfortunately..

M.N Residence is ok bt the pool is quite small and there is no gym or facilities to do sports.

The apartments themselves are in ok condition, not too modern though.
