Rimmer Posted January 29, 2013 Share Posted January 29, 2013 The “U-Turn” Drug Gang from Sattahip is no more SATTAHIP:--A gang of drug dealers known as the “U-Turn” Gang have been dealt a blow after the arrest of three of their main members. Police Colonel Chonapat, the Chief of Sattahip Police, held a press conference on Monday Afternoon to announce the arrest of three of the gang members and the names of five others who are on-the-run for now. The gang is known to be controlled by an inmate at Chonburi Central Prison who uses the gang to run his illegal drug network, despite the fact he is currently incarcerated. They will just get some more members to do the leg work. I have a feeling the staff overseeing the jails are guided by the same moral compass as the Thai police. Ohio Posted January 30, 2013 Share Posted January 30, 2013 Ah Drug rings the same all over the world , just think of the massive cartel of the Mexican Mafia in California. With the price of drugs at approximately 8 times the price of Gold per once & the profit margins at sky high levels it will be an ongoing problem for another few lifetimes.
