Should I Let My Accountant Do The Yearly Audit?

Featured Replies

He says he sends it to someone in Bangkok , but I have no way of knowing this. The audit is to audit his work, correct?

Seems pricey- about 12,000, is this right?.

Does anyone have any experience with this question?

Audit cannot be done by your regular accountant in Thailand. 12,000 baht would be the minimum for a small company.

Audit is to get the tax office to stamp the tax return, nothing to with an audit as you are used to.

Nothing to do with the Tax Return really.

An Audit of your Annual Accounts is exactly the same as in most Countries - you need a Certified Auditor to examine the Accounts prepared by your Accountant, sign them and submit them to the authorities.

The person who prepared the Accounts cannot also be the person who Audits them.
