It would be very useful if he told us his location. We don't need to assume he's on a tight budget. The Royal Cliff has a very nice fitness gym. I believe casual workouts are around 1000, and 5000 per week. The staff run around behind you with towels and refreshments. I was in there the other week, they wanted 4700 Baht/month, They also have daily and weekly rates I believe...also, that was probably for a full membership for use of all facilities...if you only want weight room and aerobic machines, it's much less.
