I drove there from Bkk last week...everything was fine

15 mins from carpark to carpark...about 9:15am

If you're coming from the Klang end don't take the first turnoff as the road is very bad still...better take the second turnoff where the road is a bit windier but much better surface

rode there today .... in a bus load ... (ick) pleasant staff ... fast service etc ... strabgely I drove to Wat sothorn on Sunday .. could have just drove down then but my passport was at home ;-0)

Thank you to all of you for that information, very helpful. Also wondering if anyone has found good inexpensive places to stay in Chantaburi or elsewhere on the route in case I don't want to drive back the same day? Especially like natural scenery places.
